Carrie Arquitt, DDS, MS
Carrie Arquitt, DDS, MS is a board certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. She has been in practice since 1999, practicing in a variety of settings including a multi-dentist private practice, a mobile dental office and a public health office which led to her opening her own practice, Arquitt Pediatric Dentistry, in 2007 in Springfield, Missouri.
Arquitt Pediatric Dentistry LLC provides the latest in preventive and restorative dentistry for your child in a relaxed atmosphere. As a parent herself, Dr. Arquitt understands the uniqueness of each child and strives to provide individual plans to suit her patient’s needs.
Dr. Arquitt completed her General Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry specialty training at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. It was during her dental school training that she realized her passion for working with children, and received an additional three years of training after dental school to become a Pediatric Dentist. This includes intense training in prevention, growth and development, sedation, leadership training and working with patients who have special needs and medical concerns.
Dentistry is a rapidly changing field, and to stay current Dr. Arquitt completes annual continuing education specifically in the field of pediatric dentistry, and is active in many local and national organizations. These include but are not limited to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Association and The Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Arquitt is also a member of The Junior League of Springfield and Trinity Presbyterian Church. She is married to fellow dentist/oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. George Arquitt, and stays busy being mom to two active daughters, Katherine and Ansley.
Dr. Arquitt has been honored to receive the Springfield Business Journal 40 under 40 award, 417 magazine Top Dentist, and top 3% board score in her specialty. She has also been inducted into the American College of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry. These are both societies that are peer nominated and honor dentists for leadership and ethics in dentistry. But perhaps most importantly, she is honored every day to have the privilege of being a pediatric dentist to so many wonderful children who call Arquitt Pediatric Dentistry their dental home.
Business and Front Office Manager
Jessica graduated from Vatterott College in October 2009 and has been a valued member of our team since 2011. She enjoys interacting with our families and helping their children achieve healthy smiles. She greets our patients, obtains insurance benefits, answers phone calls with professionalism, courtesy and care. Her dental training and knowledge only proves to enhance her skills at our front desk. Jessica is a devoted mom to her son Jaydon, loves being outdoors and enjoys traveling.
Susie, our hygienist, received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007 from OTC. She was also the recipient of the Golden Scaler Award. The award is given to the one student per graduating class that excels in giving the most thorough clinical care to their patients. Susie joined the APD team in 2009 and her focus is on helping each child have successful, confidence-building dental appointments by showing each child exactly what their appointment will include. This individual attention helps each child overcome any fear or anxiety they may have. Susie lives in Springfield with her husband, Sam, and their daughter Olivia. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, flea markets, shopping with her mom, and hanging out with her family.
Natalie has been in the dental field since 2002, graduating from Vatterot College in September of 2002. Natalie brought her highly organized style to our team in 2008 and has truly been a blessing. She not only takes great care of our patients but she is also an a wonderful ambassador for the office! She chose pediatric dentistry because she enjoys working with children and helping them become confident dental patients. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband Nathan and three children Ashlyn, Eli and Vedder.
Danielle graduated from OTC's Dental Assisting program in May 2011 and then joined our team. She enjoys having the opportunity to work in dentistry to help improve our patient's smiles. She works in our hygiene department and has sharpened her skills in bleaching and lab techniques. A native of Springfield, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Anthony, their two daughters, Hayden and Addison, and son, Easton. She also loves watching and playing sports and being outdoors.
Brea has been in the dental field since 2009 and joined our team in April of 2013. Her passion is with children and truly believes that education is the most important factor to a healthy smile. You will probably see her in our restorative department, or you might see her when you come in for a cleaning. In her free time, she likes bike rides with her husband, Josh, and son, Jaxson. They also enjoy theater, music, art festivals and, of course, spending time with friends and family.
A native of Russia, Marina graduated from Vatterott College in 2009 and has worked as an assistant ever since with a special love for pediatric dentistry.She is constantly ready with a smile and takes so much joy in treating our patients, it’s no surprise that she has loved dentistry since she was young. Marina is always excited to greet patients in her native Russian and see their look of surprise at her fluency in both English and Russian. Her hobbies include choir, roller skating, biking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
Miriah started her dental journey in 2009 and joined our team May of 2018. She enjoys to spend time outdoors with her husband, Mike and their daughter Ella. Miriah enjoys helping children overcome their fear in the dental chair. Her goal is to turn dentistry into a positive experience. You will see Miriah in our hygiene department improving patient’s smiles.
Front Office Coordinator
Becky joined our dental team in March of 2017. She is crosstrained in both assisting and front office bringing 10 years of dental knowledge to our practice. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughters Hailey and Lexi along with her granddaughter Kaydence. She also loves lake time with friends and football Sundays.
